岡山県倉敷市生まれ。
日本の全1741市町村を巡り、『ふるさとの手帖』（KADOKAWA）を出版。
また、平成の大合併前の3232市町村、政令指定都市の171区も訪れた。
日常のあたたかさが好きで、日本は小さな国だが、とても広いと感じている。

Katsusuke Nishina
Photographer, born in Kurashiki-shi, Okayama Prefecture. He toured all 1741 cities, towns, and villages in Japan and published "Furusato no Techo" (KADOKAWA). He also toured all 3232 old cities and 171 designated cities' districts. He feels beautiful in ordinary life.

生まれた場所や育った場所は様々でも、
日本中に誰かの”ふるさと”があります。
そんな景色を”手帖”に書き残すように、
一つずつ旅ができたらと思っています。

There are many places in Japan where people were born and raised. There is someone's "hometown" all over Japan. I would like to travel one by one, just as if I were writing them down in a "handbook".
